The 10th Anniversary Forum Composites without Borders [Forum X] will be held as part of the Composite-Expo exhibition for the first time.
The joint hosting of the Composites without Borders Forum and the Composite-Expo exhibition is the main event of the year in the domestic composites industry. This forum brings together industry experts, top managers from leading companies, businessmen, scientists, innovators, developers, representatives of federal, regional and municipal authorities, and students.
Forum X Composites without Borders will be dedicated to the new technology-driven agenda for composites and global trends in boosting the industry in Russia, implementation of the activities as set out in the roadmap for the high-tech domain Technology for Innovative Materials and Compounds.
Forum X programme will include an opening session, topical panel discussions, research presentations, interviews with industry leaders, networking, an awards ceremony for Contest V 'Composites without Borders. AWARDS’

UMATEX, Rosatom’s division for composites, announces entries open for Contest V ‘Composites without Borders. AWARDS’. The award ceremony will be held on 28 March as part of the 10th Anniversary Forum Composite without Borders and Composite-Expo exhibition.
Umatex Rosatom, Sirius Lyceum and the Kazan National Research Technical University have signed an agreement on the development of educational programmes for SIRIUS.COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGY research and training laboratory, which Rosatom is setting up based on Sirius Lyceum.

Annual Forum IX Composites without Borders will take place on 17 November 2021 in partnership with the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM. The event will take place in two formats - in person at the Skolkovo Technopark and online at INNOPROM Online. The event enjoys the support of the RF Ministry of Industry and Trade. The title sponsor is the interregional cluster Composites without Borders. Umatex Rosatom is the partner for the business segment of the Forum.
Please note that Forum IX Composites without Borders will take place on 17 November 2021 both online and offline. The agenda features a discussion on the global technological and innovative development of the composites industry. The Composites without Borders forum is a unique platform for communication between representatives of composites producers and industry experts in Russia and worldwide.

‘Science and education, start-up companies as the basis for Russia's leadership in composites’ took place at Forum VIII Composites without Borders, which discussed the problems of industry’s growth and integration of composites, which need to be facilitated with education and governmental aid.
Forum VIII ‘Composites without Borders’ held online on 22 October in partnership with INNOPROM, featured a panel discussion 'Industries as composites market drivers in Russia and worldwide'’. Its moderator Anatoly Gaydansky, CEO of AeroComposite, opened the discussion with a dispute on the prospects and trends in the industry.
The market for innovative materials has not been severely affected by the pandemic, and in some sectors it has even grown and will continue to grow. The future of composites in Russia depends on local development of renewable energy industry. Export prospects are primarily linked to the production of composite titanium parts for the aerospace industry and processing of graphite. These were the forecasts shared by the participants of the opening session ‘Global technology trends and the role of composites’ of the Composites without Borders forum.
International and Russian experts, federal and regional government officials, heads of large corporations and development institutions, educators at the forum discussed the opportunities for the integration of the Russian composites market into the global agenda and use of advanced materials in various industrial applications.
As part of Forum VIII Composites without Borders held on 22 October 2020 in partnership with INNOPROM Online, the winners of Contest III ‘Composites without Borders.AWARDS’ were announced. Among the winners are ITECMA, Galen, Vestas Manufacturing Rus, Chaika, and StroyGeoTechnology.
